Vijay has eighteen years of experience in the high tech industry. Vijay possesses extensive and proven skills in team building and leading software and hardware development. He has contributed at small start-up companies, as well as Fortune 500 companies in the field of Data Storage (Tape drives, Disk drives), Data communication, Telecommunication, and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). Vijay held strategic management and technical leadership positions at companies such as Nomadix Inc., ECI Telecom, Western Digital, Teradyne, Rexon-Wangtek, and Micropolis. Vijay built and led world class engineering organizations. He is a recognized entrepreneur, a leader, and an engineer.
Most recently, Vijay played a key management role as the Director of Software Engineering at Nomadix, Inc. Nomadix is a Wi-Fi datacom device and software company where Vijay built and led software engineering organiztion. Vijay played a key lead role in development and successful launch of number Nomadix' products including Network Service Engine (NSE)- a portable core set of software modules, Universal Subscriber Gateway (USG), Hotspot Gateway (HSG) for Wi-Fi deployment.
Since 1987, Vijay has been a part-time faculty member at California State University Northridge (CSUN) and at UCLA Extension, teaching Computers and Engineering classes. Vijay holds B.S in Electrical Engineering from S.P University in India and M.S in Computer Engineering from California State University Northridge.
